I have a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois in communication research and have been teaching at NCC for three years. My kid and my dog are important to me. He goes to Northwestern on full scholarship (my kid not the dog although the dog is smart too:-)) Hoping to learn some new ways to engage with online students!</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Hi all,<br>As Sabryna - nice to meet you! - I am an Assistant Professor of NCC in MCL, in the area of language, language education, and linguistics. Originally I am from Colombia, but I am also a Canadian :)&nbsp; My family and I lived in London, Ontario for over a decade before moving permanently to Naperville. My dissertation is in third language acquisition form Western University. My son Juan studies Computer Science in NCC, my younger son Pablo is a Freshman in Naperville North, and my husband works in finance. Below a pic taken this last father's day! lol<br>I look forward to learning ways to effectively integrate online textbook components to in class discussions in regular and blended courses.</div>]]></description>
