Today is my first day doing SIEP 3 at Like M Cafe. There are only one chef chef which is the boss and only one workers in this cafe.  

And I are at the position of waitress. So, the first day, the worker will guide me all about the works

For the second day, they teach me how to prepare all the things before open the shop. The operation date is from 12.00 p.m. to 10 p.m. I must go early before the shop start business for the whole day. I will having one hour break for dinner, the boss having prepare dinner for me or I can choose to eat at other places.

First I need to punch card when reach the shop. There are no uniform provided for me, the boss just allow me to wear neatly with full cover shoes to works.

When I coming to work here, I and the other worker will take turn to clean the cups had use. Today will be my turn to wash all the cups that had been use. I need to clean up the used cup and wipe by a clean cloth. 

Then I need to arrange all the washed cups by size neatly. I need to be careful when wash and arrange all the cups because the cups are made of glass. 

Today was my turn to help the other staff prepare for open the shop. Before open the door for business, we need to arrange all the table and chair, wipe the glass, sweep and mop the floor, wipe all the table and so on.

Today the  work are needed to mop  and arrange all the display cabinet. All the display cabinet need to be mop once per week which to make sure there are not having dust on that.

On the display cabinet will having toys, photo, chess, flower and so on which customer can take the toys like toy bricks or chess to distract the long waiting time of preparing the ordered food. Customer can also having more chance to enjoy with family or friends.

Today, they will teach me how to checking the stock. I need to check the stock by counting how many stock still having in the store room and list down which the stock need to replenishment. 

Besides, not only the stock at the store room, I also need to make sure the stock in the refrigerator like fruit juice, soy milk, carbonated drinks and so on must always full of stock to avoid not enough stock to sell.

Today I need to help other staff to prepare and arrange for the birthday celebration.

Today also is my turn to be the waiter, I need to serve the customer seats, dishes, drinks and so on. I must always smile to customer and can answer all customer question.
