How do I enable my classmates to have good habits to sustain the environment?

Current recognisable issue:
Our classmates don't seem to know each other very well due to separation during lessons. 

Intended outcome:
We want everyone in the class to know at everyone in the class.

When do we achieve this outcome?:
By the end of term 3

Why this outcome?:
We want the class to be more united and build friendships with each as much as possible.

Who are going to help achieve this outcome?:
Class Comm EXCO

How are we going to help the group to achieve the outcome?:
1. We will conduct a show and tell activity
2. We will group our classmates to 4 pax/group
3. We will request for 5 mins of FT time to do the show and tell
4. Each student will bring 1 item that best represent him/herself
5. They will present to the class for a maximum of 1 min.

How do we know if we are successful?:
We will do a poll at the end of term 3 to check if our classmates know each other a little better than the start.

How do I enable my classmates to have good habits to sustain the environment?

Current recognisable issue:
Our classmates are not throwing the used/unwanted paper into the paper recycling bins.

Intended outcome:
We want everyone to throw used/unwanted paper into the paper recycling bins.

When do we achieve this outcome?:
By the end of term 3.

Why this outcome?:
We want the class to play our part to keep the environment green.

Who are going to help achieve this outcome?:
Green ambassadors.

How are we going to help the group to achieve the outcome?:
1. We will share with the class on what we plan to do during FT time on wed.
2. We will role model the way by throwing the used/unwanted paper into the paper recycling bins.
3. We will also ask our friends to do the same.
4. We plan to share the results (the amount of unwanted/used paper collected) weekly (for a month) with the class. Hopefully there is an increasing trend.

How do we know if we are successful?:
By the end of T3, the Green ambassadors will need to empty the waste paper recycling bin at least twice a week.

We want everyone to throw used/unwanted paper into the paper recycling bins and not any other items that might contaminate the bin.

When do we achieve this outcome?:

Who are going to help achieve this outcome?:
Green ambassadors.

How are we going to help the group to achieve the outcome?:

1. We will share with the class  by doing a presentation on what are the items that can be recycled and what are the items that cannot be recycled. + a Q&A if needed.
2. We will role model the way by throwing the recycable used/unwanted paper into the paper recycling bins. 
3. We will also ask our friends to do the same. 
4. We plan to share the results (the amount of unwanted/used paper collected) weekly (for a month) with the class. Hopefully there is an increasing trend.

How do we know if we are successful?:
We will do a short quiz at the end of Term 3 to check if our classmates know which types of paper can be recycled and which can't be recycled.

Not a lot of people actually know about the the recycling programmes in Riverside

Intended outcome:
More people know about them and actually recycle stuff like food, paper, plastic and e-waste

Recycling reduces the amount of resources being used again, like fossil fuel and other non-renewable energy

Our classmates are not doing their respective duties from the Duty Roster 

Intended outcome:
We want everyone to do their duty on time.

Why this outcome?
We want to ensure that all classrooms are clean

Who are going to help achieve this outcome?:
Green ambassadors

How are we going to help the group to achieve the outcome:
We can print out an excel sheet so that the people who have done their duty for the day, can sign next to the date. This way we can keep track whether everyone is doing their duties diligently. If they did not do their duty that day, the green ambassadors must think of a punishment for them. This way they will remember to do their duty more diligently.

How do we know If we are successful:
We can monitor the amount of signatures every two weeks. How do I enable my classmates to have good habits to sustain the environment?

Our classmates are littering the classrooms and not keeping it clean by throwing the litter into the bins.

Intended outcome:
We want everyone to throw their litter into the bins provided in their classrooms everyday.

When do we achieve this outcome:
By the end of term 3

Why this outcome?:
It is so that the student know how to maintain the cleanliness in the classrooms especially during this pandemic period.

Who are going to help achieve this outcome?:
Green Ambassadors

How are we going to help the group to achieve the outcome?:
1. We can do a presentation to inform them about the advantages of keeping the classroom clean and the disadvantages of not keeping it clean which will lead to consequences + a Q&A if needed.
2. We will role model the way by setting an example for them by doing our own part to keep the classrooms clean by throwing litter we see in our classrooms.
3. We can encourage our friends to do it and guide them along the way
4. We plan to keep track by checking each classroom and and the end of each week for the whole of term 3 to see if the trend of litter in the classrooms hopefully decrease and recording it.

How do we know if we are successful?:
At the end if term 3 we will check the results that we recorded to see if there is a decreasing trend in the amount of litter in the classrooms and congratulate the top 3 classes in each level who managed to maintain cleanliness in their classrooms
