Right now, Congress is voting on the childcare infrastructure funding in the Build Back Better plan. Over the past few months, we've collectively made calls, sent emails and shoed up to our elected official's offices to present them with our 3 core childcare demands and pass $450 billion for childcare.
... AND OUR HARD WORK IS PAYING OFF!
As of October 29, 2021, we know that the number is $400 billion and includes funding for childcare and universal Pre-K passed on a federal level. An official vote is scheduled for November 15, 2021.

We are being proactive in our movement and establishing people in our state to claim their seat at the table and make sure state legislators opt-in to receive and disperse this funding.

If you'd like to become more active in this movement, please reach out to Kelly Dawn Jones, daystardawn@gmail.com or BriTanya Bays, bbays@communitychangeaction.org
