Students used to only do work with paper and pencil and everyone was okay with that, but once technology came into the picture they no longer wanted to work with paper and pencil. I think we are to attached to technology and we are afraid of giving it up because they are no longer able to look up their answers or get distracted about things.

Technology has the ability to engage a student in ways that traditional teaching does not. Technology allows students to find different ways to learn, play games that hold educational value and see application and simulations through video as well as so many other benefits. I do think that it has its cons, though. Being too dependent on technology can leave a student feeling unable to learn any other way. Having internet is expensive and not many can afford to have it 24/7 at their own house. Also having students focus on their devices can damage eye vision.
