Together, the class will explore the different meanings a word can have by starting with a word in the middle of a "web." Then, every definition or relation they make to the starting word is put somewhere on the web. I vaguely remember the name from another time in school, however, now I see the potential value in this website for a teacher and class. 
CommonLit is a website with categorized texts for each grade level, with interesting and challenging content for every reader, and its FREE. 
The more I look at CommonLit, the more I am blown away. I love this design as a part of my classroom. It allows for a small group of students to get tucked in behind a wall of books with comfy pillows, and perhaps, a few stuffed animals.
The Hideaway also allows for thoughts into classroom management. Perhaps, as a choice amongst other rewards, a library pass.
