Play matters understand that children have the urge to play from a very young age. They believe that play is an important part of a child's life as it improves their overall health and development. They find 'loose parts' a good form of play as they can use things that aren't played with in a certain way and there are no rules. This allows children to use their imagination and think of different ways to use different objects around the house. This will extend their learning as they will get to chose their own objects and play with them in any way they want to. different objects they can use are bubble wrap, pots and pans, old clothes and fabric etc.
