We are born with it. And that women could do things that men can do but better.  According to the text "Then they talk about this thing in the head; what’s this they call it? [member of audience whispers, “intellect”] That’s it, honey. What’s that got to do with women’s rights or Negroes’ rights?"  This evidence shows that to her one thing doesn't mean anything to her to get her equal right.  Additionally, according to the text, it states "Look at me! Look at my arm! I have ploughed and planted, and gathered into barns, and no man could head me! And ain’t I a woman?"  This evidence shows that she works harder than a men.  Yet people dont; value her for what she does.  She could do it better than a men could do it.  Therefore, this proves the authors believes that intellect has nothing to do with rights. 

The author uses the analogy "pint vs quart" to explain that she wants half of the rights that other men have.  According to the text it sates "If my cup won’t hold but a pint, and yours holds a quart, wouldn’t you be mean not to let me have my little half measure full?" This evidence shows that men have all of the powers and she wants it. The rights that she wants is to be able to vote and work outside. However, since Truth is not only black, but a woman, she doesn't even have her "pint" full, meaning she has less than white men, white women and black men.  According to the text," Then they talk about this thing in the head; what’s this they call it?

This evidence shows us that quart is white people, pint is black people. Pint is less than quart, so white people is more than black people.
