1. I work in a school helping with after-school care. In the Pre-K class supervise, the teacher is always helping the girls do hands-on activities to further develop their motor skills. One activity they did around Christmas was hanging jingle bells on a Christmas tree made out of sticks. The students had to maneuver the jingle bells onto the tree. I think the hands-on activities help the students learn how to use their motor skills successfully and is executed in a fun, learning environment.
2. In middle school, I was on the volleyball team. My coach's criticism helped me learn to manipulate the volleyball to where I wanted it to go. I think my coach did a good job explaining and executing how to bump the volleyball.

Constructive (Articulative/Reflective)

1. An example of constructive learning I have done this week is our Module 1 reading in IDT 3600. I had to reflect on an article by coming up with my own headline for the article. This assignment benefitted me because the reflection allowed me to take in the information and form my own opinion after learning the material.
2. In SPED 2000, we were required to read an article about Endrew F vs. Douglas County Schools. We were asked to write three main points from the case and reflect. I believe this assignment is a good example of constructive learning because we are required to take in the analyze the information and summarize the important points from the case.

Cooperative (Collaborative/Conversational)

1. Earlier this week, for my sorority, we had a baking zoom for spring recruitment. My roommates and I had to follow directions to make the cookies together, while also talking to potential new members. Overall it was a super fun way to meet new people and the cookies were delicious. Learning with my roommates was very helpful because we could feed off of each others ideas. The recipe was easy to learn, so a new treat was the outcome of this positive learning experience.
2. Throughout my classes this past week, we have been doing many different discussions. Most discussion boards require us to respond to a few of our classmates. Discussion boards promote collaborative learning because students can learn something new from their classmates and also receive feedback on their posts.

1. In PETE 3604 last semester, we were required to create a mini lesson plan that involved movement. We learned how to incorporate movement into the classroom. This assignment was treated as something we would use in our classes in the real world in the future. This assignment was very beneficial with authentic learning because we could save the mini lessons to use later in life as teachers.
2. I work at an after-school care program which gives me examples into the real-life of a teacher. I am left alone with six four-year-olds which allows me to learn with them and understand what to do if a problem occurs. My job is very hands-on, and I learn through the real-life experience. I think in the future this job will be very beneficial for when I become a teacher.

Intentional (Goal-directed/Regulatory)

1. One of my goals this week was to plan out time to get all of my assignments done. While I did plan everything out with enough time, I poorly executed my tasks because I failed to stick to a schedule, so it was a learning experience. I had intentions to get everything done, but I learned to plan extra time for inconveniences.
2. In SPED 2000, we use Revel Text which has small checkpoints to track how far along we are in our progress. I think these small goals allow for proper planning. The goals are beneficial to me and are a good example of intentional learning.
