The Eucharist is a memorial of the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ when he was crucified on the Cross, and the memory of it becomes present to all believers in a special way. In Catholic tradition, the Eucharist is important because it is believed to be the actual physical presence of Jesus in the body, blood, and soul. It is present under the appearance of bread and wine. As we receive Christ's body and blood, it makes Jesus truly present with us.

The Eucharist however is a memorial that is celebrated not just in remembrance of the past but also the Present. Because, Jesus is indeed present, alive and always with us. It is a memorial that Christ Himself instituted, a sacrifice that Christ perpetuates and in which we are called to share.

In Eucharist Celebration, doing the memory of him by eating the bread/chalice as Jesus Christ’s body and the wine as his blood. To realize that we are in front of living memory and we are to live it. As well as to become like Jesus and live what we recall and remember. It is also to believe what Jesus has said and believe it as literal truth and reach out to others regarding it. In a Eucharistic celebration, We are reenacting Christ’s last supper on earth. We are before the living bread. In other words, Jesus Christ is present, so as in every mass. When the host and cup are raised, we recall what happened during the last supper. During this, we need to realize that we are reliving a memory. Lastly, We also need to remember the sacrifice on the cross and the blood that was shed which happens in every eucharist celebration, by the Lord himself.

We can respond to this as part of the Christian community by having gratitude, we will never be able to fully thank the Lord for becoming our provider and being present with us at all times in the Holy Eucharist. We should seek Him out as often and as efficiently as we can, attending a mass not only because we must but also because we want to. When we do receive Him, we should express gratitude for a few moments after receiving holy communion and again after mass. In the same way, we must approach Him in prayer, particularly during Eucharistic adoration, when the eternal Son of God awaits us and rejoices in our presence. Let us spend and consume ourselves to convey our gratitude, devotion, purity, passion, and worship in exchange for his Eucharistic love.

Christ is present in the person of the priest who conducts the Mass, who reads the Scriptures, who teaches, who gives thanks to God in the Eucharistic Prayer, and who imitates what Jesus did at the Last Supper. He makes Christ present in the bread and wine through the work of the Holy Spirit. He is also present among those gathered to celebrate Mass. In addition to promising to be present whenever his disciples gathered in his name, Jesus also said that those present at Mass are part of the Church, the Body of Christ, who is still present in the world today.
