In my family, we eat sushi when all of our family gather around. We also eat it at special occasions  like birthday. But we also eat it when we want to not only in special occasion. When we eat sushi, we usually eat miso soup with it.

I like sushi because everyone in my family likes it and everyone smiles when they eat sushi. Also, we can have many variety of fish on the rice so I can enjoy eating it.

Biltong is a lean meat that is beef or ostrich. 

It is hung and air-dried. 

It has a type of spice like salty, chutney or BBQ.

How my family and I celebrate the traditional food?

Every Sunday, we have a barbecue and before we eat lunch we would have biltong as a snack before we eat. We would also have it in our lunch boxes, whenever we go to school.

Why I like Biltong?

I like biltong, because it is a very nice texture and it is chewy. 

Scones were first made in Scotland in around the year 1500 (about 520 years ago!) but they became part of the Cornish cream tea (a meal in the afternoon with scones, jam, cream and tea). There was and there still is a lot of disagreement between 2 towns (Cornwall and Devon) whether you put the jam or the cream on the scone first. In Cornwall, jam is added first to allow it to sink into the scone and then cream is added on top. But in Devon, cream is spread first to create a barrier between the runny jam and the scone.

This tradition is celebrated in my family. When we visit my grandma she always makes them for us and we eat the scones in the afternoon before dinner. We always put jam first and then the cream but some people would disagree and put it the opposite way. 

I like this tradition because I like food itself and I really like the scones that my grandma makes but I also like the rivalry between the 2 towns and all the dispute between people.

I chose Knödel because it is a very popular dish in my village.

Knödel is made of flour meat, old bread, eggs and parsley.

Knödel is normally a side dish. 

You would normally eat it with soup or salad. 

There is many different type of Knödel there is what we call spek Knödel it is the most common one the there is käse Knödel 

(Cheese Knödel) and then we have types of Knödel but for dessert it is called chocolate Knödel (chocolate Knödel) it is jest flour witch chocolate. I like Knödel because I find it good.

Sinterklaas is like a Dutch version of santa. Sinterklass arrives to holland on a boat with his helpers and his horse. Just like santa, he gives presents to the children. He and his horse walk house to house on the roofs. And gives the children peppernoten and presents in their shoes. 

Peppernoten is a type of candy given when sinterklaas comes it has a cinnamon flavor and its often mixed with other candies that are like little hard marshmallows.

I like it because its buitiful and calm.

Me and my familly we listent to it because in my familly we listent a lot of jazz and it in Corsican so we love i.

Uganda is a country in the east of Africa, the middle. It is a very religious country, where you should go to church every Sundays. So that is why I chose Easter. We celebrate Easter because me and my family are Christians, so we celebrate the three days after his death on the cross, by crucifixion. EASTER.

On Easter morning, our mom hides chocolate or other objects, round the house, and me & my two sisters would look for them around the house until all of them were collected. We would take pictures of our stash and them get to use them. Later in the day, we would then eat a great big lunch and enjoy it as a family. That would the end of that of our tradition.

Because I get chocolates, enjoy lots of yummy food with my family, hopefully play some games and have a all around good day.

The croissant is a very good pastry from France. The croissant is made of dough layers with butter. Its cooked through the oven and when its ready its eaten with chocolate, butter or jam. Its typically eaten at breakfast. Its bought at bakeries And shops, if you take them at shops they will be less good because they would be cold and stuff but at a bakeries it would be hot, warm and  tasty. Me and my family when we went to paris would always take like 5 croissant and eat it with jam.
