"Implicitly out" - These  teachers tell the truth about relationships without using lesbian or gay labels. They don't mind  being seen as homosexual, but they choose not to verify any assumptions made.

-Some teachers don't immediately redirect students when they hear stereotypical slurs about gays.
        ~Some teachers redirect behavior immediately, letting them know that the definition implied in slurs, for instance, "that's so gay", implying that "gay" is the equivalent to "stupid" and "lame".
~Some teachers try to find out the meaning implied with the word first.
