My last year of middle school. Because of COVID, school was hybrid, sometimes online, sometimes in large white circus tents outside. It was late October. A Halloween party had been planned on this fateful school day. Our 8th grade class was going to celebrate the whole day! I was so excited! We would dress up in costumes, eat lots of candy and go for a walk to the creamery to get ice cream! 
Well, it turns out, the clouds decided to rain down really hard on us that day. Also, because of that, and the fact that it was freezing cold outside, nobody wore costumes (except for me because a little rain couldn't stop me from dressing up as a ghostbuster). Was our super awesome Halloween party going to be ruined!!??
