I’m from the smell of washing powders in the comforter,

I’m from the smell of vanilla perfume in the air,

I’m from the smell of food cooking in the kitchen.

I’m from the taste of the perfume in the air, (discussing)

I’m from the taste of the food that’s cooking.

I’m from the sound of the ceiling fan on high,

I’m from the sound of the AC going,

I’m from the sound of music or videos playing on my phone ,

I’m from the sound of my niece yelling in the other room,

I’m from the sounds of cars going down the highway.

I’m from the feeling of the comforter on my bed, 

I’m from the feeling on my phone in my hand.

I’m from the sight of the ceiling fan twisting, 

I’m from the videos playing on my phone,

I’m from the pages from the book I’m reading.

 I am from  where you could smell Taboo perfume throughout the house.

 

My house is been the only home I have known my whole life. The old white vinyl which covers the outside of the house. The shingles as black as the night sky covering the rooftop. The loud  noises of people shouting at a Saturday night football game. The noises of video games sounding throughout the old creaky house. the creaking of old wood while walk through the hallways. From the feeling of coldness in the morning air to the warmth of the evening sun. The feeling of rough carpet between your finger tips. My house which I have spent every single day of my short lived life I where my home will always be in my heart

Built it. Loved it. Left it. 

Best memories must never be forgotten. 

From house to home, with love. 
First real home, I watched it being built from the ground up. The house was the perfect size for my family. It had a large backyard where I played with my cats, built snowmen, camped, and played with my siblings.

And Ageless paper...

With a hint of ink

I’m from full silences,

Muted whispers

The rustling of pages turned 

Hum of the printers, 

Clicking of computer mice, 

And the gentle tap, tap, tap of keyboard keys 

I’m from the taste of peppermints 

And the feeling of being surrounded by knowledge 

Waiting to be released 

I’m from visiting far away places 

And imaginations, 

Without leaving the room 

My lavender and ocean breeze bed spread 

The Sent of the cleanse of the night before

But the comfort of the warm colored pillows 

My room where my floor holds more secrets than my closet does 

Floor helped me from falling and the closet holds a lot of different personalities 

This is my humble sacred place where the words tell my story
