Black Americans make up only 13% of the US population, but make up 40% of the prison population and almost 60% of all DNA exonerations in the county.

In June 2022, Roe V. Wade was overturned by the Supreme Court and since then 14 states have made abortion completely illegal. Making a women's right to choose what to do with her own body illegal.

Central Park 5 is a great example of law abuse against minorities. After their exonerations this case rose to be a very strong example of racial profiling, discrimination, and inequality in the legal system.

-The actual full process it takes to conjure up a law and get it passed and exactly how many people have to sign of on that.

-How many minorities are wrongfully convicted each year in the US. I want to know this because you can't actually estimates this number until these inmates get exnorated or unfortunately suffer the death penalty.

-More of the psychological warfare these innocent Americans experience through a wrongful conviction.

Innocent Black people are more likely to be wrongfully convicted of crimes than innocent White people. White people 1x more likely to be charged with a baseline charge, while black people are 3.5x to be accused of sexual assault, 7x more likely of murder, and 12x more likely of drug charges.

The legislative branch (among other powers) makes all laws, declares war, regulates interstate and forge in commerce and controls taxing and spending polices.

The Legislature passed 487 bills during the 2023 legislative session, 467 received a yes vote.

Women state legislators, once they reach a critical mass within the legislature, can affect state polices on regulations concerning parental notification of abortions, but not public funding.
