I live in Soacha, it is a big city located in Cundinamarca, Colombia. The typical food here are almojabana and garullas prepared with corn flour, butter, eggs, sugar, and cheese. Also a fermented corn beverage called masato and Fritanga composed of potatoes “criollas”, hen, black pudding, manioc, longaniza and pork cutlet.

The main celebration in my city is the tourist, cultural and gastronomic festival called “sun and moon”, in this festival the people always go out to the central park and enjoy the concerts, eat typical food, and know another cities and countries people.  

The visitors in Soacha can visit the Salto de Tequendama waterfall as well as eat fritanga in the restaurants with a beautiful lookout. Also can walk, jogging besides relax in the nature reserve Boquemonte or can visit the center of the city and know the main church and the archeological museum where the people can know our ancestral cultures.
