today is a very sad day because my mother died. I'm really shocked and I don't know how to deal with this tragedy. She was the person who was always there for me, person who taught me how to read, the most important person in my life. I'm in beautiful Germany! Winter has been harsh and I'm starting to feel homesick. Despite extreme stress and loneliness I'm currently writing "The Lucy poems" which have revolved around themes of death, endurance, separation and grief.
