This session was delivered by Dr Nataliya Shiraz, and the focus of this session is academic Integrity and the different forms of academic misconduct. Gill (2013, p. 103) claims that Academic integrity is described as consisting of values of honesty, trust, respect, fairness and responsibility and ‘is fundamental to the reputation of academic institutions. She told us different types of examples of academic misconduct which is important for us to be honest in our studies and with our teacher. Plagiarism is the mixing of another's work into a student's work, collusion, where a student presents his own work in partnership with another person, and falsification of data, references, and the use of screenshots to avoid Turnitin similarity are all examples of plagiarism. This lecture is very beneficial for me with this I will do excellent work in my master's degree.(145 words)

Secondary Data: measuring the unmeasurable in a Research Project by Dr Nataliya Shiraz

This guest lecture was given by Dr Nataliya Shiraz and the main focus was given on how to use the secondary data step by step and how it is different from primary data. Furthermore, as I was working on my research report, it was beneficial for me. Vartanian (2011, p. 3) states that secondary data sets provides an alternative to the collection of primary data, often giving the researcher access to more information than would be available in primary data sets and include any data that are examined to answer a research question. In this lecture I knew the difference between qualitative and quantitative data and gained knowledge between the different source of secondary data. It will be beneficial me in my master degree as we just have to go through the data collected by the primary source and also it will helpful in reducing the time required to do a proper research. .
