Summary: Global warming has been a issue since the beginning of the decades. From the article, scientist introduced that follow with the timing, global warming started becoming quicker and quicker. The solution of global warming started to become an urgency issue. If follow this rate of melting, after the glacier all melted, the sea level will raise about six meters, which is about a three level of building in a city. Although it seems far-flung from us, the melting is quickening every year. The researcher are going to far-away Arctic to find out the solution for us.

 Before I read this article, I never have any deep thought of global warming, which I only know it is a bad environmental issue that cause by bad human behaviors. However, after read this article, I actually have a couple controversy questions come to mind as following. First, if global warming would raise the sea level, why would we are still run less on water? Second, why global warming is a bad thing? Would it has any positive influence? What is the true cause of global warming and what is the true impact it would bring to the world and ecology. I couldn't figure out all of these questions, which I believe is why researchers need to go that far to find out the solutions of global warming for us. However, as I usually believe, what seems really bad might have precious positive effect within it. I really hope that researchers could find some solution to turn global warming to a positive thing instead of just finding out what to do to stop it. However, I have a sincere grateful mind to those researchers. Thank you to them for going into that tough situation to protect the world that we are living in.

I learnt the phrase "global warming" the first time. Afterwards, I heard a few news every year about the consequences of global warming.  Like each year I can see the kind of news that say "It is the coolest/hottest winter/summer in the past 20 years." Therefore, I was not surprised as I saw this article. I think it is urgent for human to slow the process of global warming, or more and more similar news would appeal in the near future. In my opinion. Global warming is definitely a negative thing for human self. As we know, global warming causes the rise of sea level, which would damage a lot of human structures. Also, it causes the extreme weathers. Such as extreme cold climate in winter and extreme hot climate in summer. Here is a movie called The Day After Tomorrow, describes what the world would be if the global warming keep processing.
