Why do I have to do this horrible work 

The homework is such a jerk! 

When I cried it made a tiny smirk  

I have been working on this for 100 hours 

Why do we have to give up this precious time which is ours? 

This homework is a lemon, no sweet, just sour  

This homework is as disgusting as an artificial flower 

Oh my god this is taking so much time 

I need to make this sublime 

Hopefully I finish before night time 

Oh no I hear my alarm chime 

What? It was only 10 minutes 

It barely took any time to finish 

All of this, it made me berserk 

Sometimes it feels like the earth doesn’t work 

But you can’t seem to find it

I almost step outside to go the mall,
but I remember, I have to put on layers, and layers, and layers, before I could even think to go outside to get myself some treats.  

If it wasn’t sunny it was gloomy. 
 

And gloomy makes me moody. 

With a frown just wishing it was summer,
I ran as fast as I possibly could to get to the car,
but it wasn’t like the car was any warmer. 

I get to the mall.  

I was holding all those layers in my hands, it was like holding a million people in my arms. 

Instead of having fun, I was holding a bunch. 

All of this, but I still miss the cold weather, because it isn’t like humidity is any better.
