The Spanish arrived in the new world in 1492 with the help of the new technologies such as the caravel, and Prince Harry's nativagtion school. When the Spanish arrived the Aztecs, Incas, Chibchas, and Pueblos, along with other Native American tibes. The Spanish held by Columbus put in place the encomienda system which allowed Spanish land owners to take the natives as slaves. The Spanish treated natives very poorly as they searched for gold, obtain glory, and spread religion.
