Moby Dick is an excellent story about men working together to conquer a beast. A boy named Ishmael has been on many trips before but none of them have been whaling voyages. He is nervous but goes along with it anyways. Ishmael has to share a cabin with a tattoo covered creep named Queequeg who he eventually gets used to. The captain makes it clear how badly he wants Moby dead because he took his leg a while back. Many different conflicts occur such as a crew member getting left behind in the middle of the ocean and finding rival ships who had both had recent encounters with the whale.
