• Students will clap as they pronounce different words. Essentially they are segmenting words into smaller syllables "fa-ble" would be two syllables.

• Students will be in small groups or whole group depending on the skill. Students will listen, repeat, and apply the rhyming words. For example, hat/cat fog/log.

• Activity 4: Choral Reading with Sound Focus – Group reading where teacher emphasizes specific sounds.
