Coca-Cola should run an ad promotion offering free Coca-Cola for completing challenges in the app. Such as running 5 miles or taking a hike.

Frank's Red Hot had a hilarious and very much eye catching commercial. The borderline controversial tagline "I put that s*** on everything" resonated with everyone who watched the commercial. Overall, serving as a comedic but successful ad campaign, having a bit of edge to oppose those who are edgy, like Charlie. It spread like wildfire, with mulitple different versions of the commercial being created, and airing in the SuperBowl. Quality production and great use of promotion.

Aiden

A marketing strategy is Starbucks use of seasonal drinks like the Pumpkin Spice Latte. They only sell it for a short time each year which makes people excited to get it before it’s gone. The drink also becomes a trend on social media so customers do free advertising by posting photos. I think this strategy is very smart because it creates hype around a simple product. It makes people want to go out and get it.

https://id.starbucks.com/SecureAuth83/SecureAuth.aspx?SAMLRequest=fZJRb9owFIX%2fSuR3J8SkUbAAiYGqRaJbBLQPe5mMczOsJXbmazP67%2buErmWT1kdfnXPu52PPUXRtz1fenfQOfnlAF5WbBfnOWJ4VWTGjbJY3NCtyRgWbMVofc6gLBnesABI9gUVl9IKweEKiEtFDqdEJ7cJownI6YZTlh7TgKePpLM6y6TcSbcIWpYUbnSfneuRJouo4GO3Ry58YS9MlCNJbEIGsmN4cYoH9hUT3xkoYsRekES3CsL4SiOoMb5PKGmekaT8pXSv9Y0G81dwIVMi16AC5k3y%2fetjygM%2bPVxHyz4dDRauv%2bwOJVohgB8610eg7sHuwZyXhcbd9J0eH9KyQdkLpf%2b5gGoUJiS5dq5GPVX%2fM0L8Ck%2bV8UPOxUXvj%2f9gu%2fuCS5SB7KvcPgYkHwHlyk3cN7%2fmXEFBuKtMq%2bTwU2gn3%2f%2fw0TseJqmkzSrnX2INUjYI6NNW25vc6PJEL9TvrQ%2fvJ8rr17%2b%2b1fAE%3d&RelayState=urn%253AVISC3%253Asts

I think they should do this so that they could increase the amount of customers coming in to get a special order or discount they could do with their partnership. They encourage customers to use the app by offering points for every purchase, which can be redeemed for free drinks and food.

Hormel foods need to have different strategies to get younger generations to buy their food. Some of these include using unique flavors such as Apple cider and Garlic Rosemary. They also made extremley unique products to gain online attention. Such as the "Black label Breathable bacon face mask" which is a face mask with bacon scent. Overall these caused the brand to not fall under in profits and compete with the rest of the food industry. In Seoul, coffee is extremely popular, which is what influenced this marketing decision. When the unique Dunkin jingle was detected, the machine released the aroma. This makes their Store more appealing to their customers. It Also makes them stand out from other stores and outdoor retail stores. The "Red Bull gives you wings" marketing slogan symbolizes enhanced energy to overcome challenges. They have extreme sports sponsorship and events to tie into the slogan. They created their own content and culture around energy drinks and pushing limits, which goes along with their target audience.

Duoling uses another business in order to market its product in a unique way. If you go to their TikTok page duolingo will have videos of their owl dancing and doing funny things. They do this to apply to the current younger and online generations. It has been extremely effective, because as of 2024, when these videos started to kick off, Duolingo surpassed 100 million total active users. Also, as of 2021, they became the most downloaded and used online language app ever.

https://www.duolingo.com/

E.L.F Jelly Pop

The beauty brand E.L.F launched a line called the Jelly Pop Collection, which featured skincare and makeup products that contain melon and watermelon juice. What made the product launch unique was that E.L.F sent PR boxes to influencers, and inside the boxes they put the makeup inside a real container of jelly. The unique marketing PR strategy for this campaign caught a lot of peoples attention and each PR video had easily thousands of views because of how unique the product was. They also launched pop up events in London where people could eat jelly and try the makeup out. They also collabed with the popular soda brand Poppi on a watermelon soda giveaway to go along with the Watermelon jelly collection.

https://www.elfcosmetics.com/jellypop?srsltid=AfmBOorQfInP_lvWiczIdIRVeLyNxGyuaZPnpcg81866DYOAAJH_io59

One of the most fascinating marketing strategies is loss leading pricing where a company deliberately sells a product at a price below its market value—sometimes even at a loss to attract customers. A classic example is the Costco rotisserie chicken, which has stayed at $4.99 for decades despite rising costs, specifically to drive foot traffic into the back of the warehouse. Once customers are in the store for that single bargain, they inevitably fill their carts with higher-margin items, more than offsetting the initial loss.

https://www.amazon.com/

The company creates hard, high piece and high count sets like architecture landmarks, movie replicas, and collectible display models specifically designed for older builders.
Walmart uses is keeping prices very low every day. Walmart calls this Everyday Low Prices, and it helps people feel like they are always getting a good deal. They also let people shop online and pick up their items at the store, which makes it easy and fast. I think this is smart because families want to save money and time. This strategy helps Walmart stay popular and busy.
