Using recording in the classroom is a great way of children recording steps of a process. It also helps children with SEN as they can do things in their own time listening and replaying the steps of something. It also gives children ownership over the work they do and can inspire them.

Most children are visual and pick up on things far more when there is a video playing. It is very important to watch the video in full before showing it to the class however. Some videos can freeze, not play on your computer or can simply not be appropriate.

In this part I learned how important it is to have modified search engine for the classroom but also that It can have some limitations. Some of the limitations include blocked websites that can be useful in class, blocked videos, etc. Allowing children to search their own work and source their own information gives them autonomy over their learning.
