We don't technically apply modus essendi to the divine nature, because in God, ESSE (act of being) and  MODUS ESSENDI (mode of being ) are ONE AND THE SAME. God IS his very act and mode of being.

Modus essendi is only introduced to understand  how the Word can have a real human nature.
