This is Calvin and Hobbes. Ever since I was in 2nd Grade I loved this comic strip. It was funny as a kid, but now as I get older, more and more of the jokes and subject matter makes sense and I can connect with it on a deeper level. It also taught me a lot when I was younger.

Not Really About the Object Itself...

This is a microphone. I am using it as a place holder because what I don't have an tangible object for what I'm about to describe. Over the summer my sister and I wrote a satire radio infomercial and I produced it and I spent a long time on it and I really enjoy listening to it over and over to remind me of the payoff of hard work and also the time I got to spend with my sister

This is my PS4. This is what I currently use the most to socialize and relax. Since its a pandemic and it's not as easy to see my friends, especially my closest ones, who all live in other states, this machine is really good for my mental health because I use it to connect with friends.

This one's a song: Undying Love by Nas

I have a very conflicted relationship with hip-hop that I could talk for hours about. I'll summarize it here though: The hip-hop art style has a lot of potential when it comes storytelling, which does not always get realized. However, when it's done right, I LOVE it, and this song, Undying Love is a shining example of it. Nas is one of hip-hop's greatest lyricists, and his ability to tell coherent stories using intricate rhyme schemes and clever wordplay never fails to make me smile. In Undying Love, Nas tells the story of a man coming home from Las Vegas to find his fiancé having an affair. The second half of the story is detailed in one of Nas's most iconic verses ever.
