I think Dene is interesting because he relates to me a lot on how things have changed so much since we got older, it makes you sad or feel a way.

i think the most interesting character is dene because he had a very bad child and when he turned 21 people said he should celebrate and drink but but he didnt want to because when he was in his moms stomach she would drink and that left a scar on him and traumatize him and now when he thinks of that it leads to thinking about and i think thats the most interesting to me

Tony Leaman. He stands out because of how he talks about the “Drome” which is his word for fetal alcohol syndrome. Instead of just describing it clinically, he makes it into a whole identity

So far the book didn't change my thoughts of Oakland because we're just starting but I feel more throughout the book it will go more deep into what Oakland and its culture around that time.

the book hasn't changed my opinion on Oakland yet but we're still in the first chapters so i will probably pick up on some things as the book progresses

So far the character who has stood out the most to me and there's there is Tony Loneman The reason he stands out most to me is his unique perspective in the world thinks to his fetal alcohols in drugs to have a different perspective and a different way of speaking and reacting to things in the world that most people don't it's very interesting and it's giving me quite a bit of insight and will give me more knowledge on how fetal alcohol syndrome affects people All of that isn't even mentioning his unique attachment to Oakland given his extensive knowledge of it specific? people as well as its architecture and the way things work all of this added together makes him the most standout characters so far

The most interesting character so far to me is Tony Loneman his unique situation allows for compelling kinds of story telling like his conflict with his mother and his absent father.
