Technology ten letters one word that changed the whole wide world. It has a lot of advantages of having a technology like it makes it easy for us to communicate with our family who's far from us, it helps us to make things easier and faster, it helps all the students for all the research activities and many more but these advantages also have disadvantages, this makes us lazy, it causes as addiction and many more.

I agree with the argument "Alone Together" of Sherry Turkle because yes, all of us hates to be alone because it makes us sad and lonely but when the people you want to stay at your side for you not to feel alone, we still focus on our phone scrolling through our feeds reacting "HAHA" in all the memes we see without even knowing that all of us suddenly forget that we come to see each other for us to communicate or to have some bonding but when we hold our phones we are already in the different world.

All of us have different problems and everyday we are still encountering problems in our life. In this kind of situation, we need someone to talk to for us to lighten up the feelings we are feeling but sometimes we still feel like no one is listening to us because they are busy scrolling their feeds finding posts that are closely related to them. When we feel like no one is listening, we are already finding comforts from the social media because your friends can comfort you more through social media than personal and even strangers can comfort you. Some of us actually found the comfort we want in the social media.

Connected, but Alone? by Sherry Turkle taught me a lot, but for me the message that she wants to give us is that technology helps us a lot but we also need to lessen the usage of technologies because this can affect the great relationship we have from the people around us. We are just focusing on the virtual world and forget to live in the reality. If we really want to talk to our friends, let’s put aside all our gadgets and start talking like it is still 19990’s.
