Early in the play (Act I/Scene I and scene 5), I found it really interesting Romeo compared Rosaleen to a Saint because of her holiness. He later compared Juliet to a holy shrine... this motif is so clear to me because it's such an odd comparison considering he's trying to convince both girls to kiss/love him.

Earlier in the play, (Act 1/ Scene ), Romeo is upset with the fact that he will never find anyone to love. In the play Romeo has said that he has lost himself, this can show you that he does not feel the same, because every girl he finds, they don't want him. This motif is clear to me, because it's so odd to me how Romeo is so in love with all of these women, but all he needs to do is stop going from woman to woman and just find a good a good woman, but the problem is that he will do anything for them, but he gets sad when they turn him down or don't like him back.

Depression

In the beginning of the play (Act 1, scene 1-4) Romeo shows a lot of depression over Rosaline. He loved Rosaline, but she didn't love him. He lets his depression over Rosaline get in the way of him having funa at the party. He goes to the party only to watch Rosaline and see how beautiful she is when he should be having fun and trying to find someone else. This motif is so clear to me because its weird to me that Romeo would rather be depressed about his breakup for the rest of his life rathe than try to meet someone at this huge party with all these girls right in front of him.

In the beginning of the play (Act 1, scene 1-4) The reader will be able to see that Romeo is depressed because he cant find someone who loves him , this causes Romeo
to fall in a deep depression. This motif is clear because the way Romeo acts in the beginning of the play can connect to his attitude when he see Rosaline dancing with another man.

Later in the play of Romeo and Juliet (Act 1, Scene 4) the reader will be able to realize that Romeo starts predicting his death. He predicts his death by dreaming about it. He even says whatever happens at the party will lead to his death. According to him, everything he dreamed about should happen in direct order in real life from his dream.
