1. BELIEFS: How is the role of the church different in Plymouth than in Jamestown?
In Plymouth they left to distance themselves from Church of England, and was part of the Congressional Church
2. POLITICS & POWER: Who controls the creating and enforcing of laws?
The monarchy handles this branch
3. PEOPLING: Which group of colonists has stronger ties to Britain and why?
Jamestown because they relied on England more
4. POLITICS & POWER: Does either society pose a threat to the authority of the British Crown? How?
Both because England tried to control both of them, and it was hard to as they were on another country
5. PEOPLING: What are three reasons both settlements have in common for immigrating to America, and three differences?
Both did it for religious reasons, both wanted resources from a New Land, and they both wanted land. Jamestown was part of the Congressional Church and Jamestown was part of the Church of England.
