         <description><![CDATA[<div>Blended learning environment</div><div>Online collaborative</div><div><strong>Topic: </strong>Starting a conversation with a stranger and keeping the conversation going.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Engage:</strong> Students are divided in 2 groups (1) Men´s group and (2) Women´s group.&nbsp;</div><div>Situation: You and your friends are at a restaurant and you see a groups of men/women. You want to talk to them and for this you have to decide:</div><div>-&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;What person in the group is going to start the conversation?</div><div>-&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;What is he/she going to say?</div><div>Time: 5 minutes</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Activate 1: </strong>Imagine someone approaches you and begins talking about:</div><div>-&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Weather</div><div>-&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Things around</div><div>-&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Asks a question</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>The group has to think what is the best and politest way to respond to conversation starter.</div><div>Time: 10 minutes</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Study:</strong> Students are given activities from the CLMS where certain expressions to respond to a conversation starter are given.          <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Engage</strong>: Brainstorm: Students write as many words as they can remember about personalities.<br><br></div><div><strong>Activate 1</strong>: students describe the person they admire the most using the vocabulary about personality.<br><br></div><div><strong>Study</strong>: Students scan 4 texts related to people´s personalities and underline the words related to it.<br><br></div><div><strong>Activity 2</strong>: Students read the text and answer comprehension questions about it.<br><br></div><div><strong>Assessment</strong>: Students choose one of the text as model to write about them. Teacher helps students to correct it and then they load it up in the platform with a picture of the draft.<br>&nbsp;</div><div><br></div>]]></description>
