She didn't have health care because she didn't think she needed it. When she was in the hospital and it was very serious and the bills were very big she decided that health care would probably help her out a lot and make things easier. She got health care and was able to get good treatment that she needed and stayed out of the hospital for awhile and was able to pay for all the bills from before.
