Clash of ideologies: or difference in specific religion may lead to factions within a country and cause an ideological conflict.
For example in Myanmar the difference in religions led to factions and the dehumanisation of the Rohingya.

When countries have the same interest it may lead to a conflict to find out who gets the desired interest.

When countries believe they have the 'divine' right to take control of other states's resources.
There might be a conflict when non-state actors( NGO'S) decide that humanitarian intervention is necessary for a specific country whilst the country believes they do not need any humanitarian aid. This may cause a conflict.
