Literacy is something we all use every second of every day. Personally I am constantly checking my phone for emails, texts and updates. During the day I am reading notes, taking notes and listening to lectures. Then at night I read a book or listen to and watch TV. The ability to read and write I feel came quite naturally to me. Throughout my years at school and college 'English' was a subject i thrived in compared to others. I enjoy diving into a book and analysing its features and elements. Essay writing challenges my pre-existing skills and I do not mind that. Although one area of literacy that makes me feel a bit queasy is presenting my ideas and information to other.
