Vygotsky's theory and methods remain the same throughout the ages, however the children's intelligence level is different. Therefore, they learn differently and at a different pace.

Scaffolding is used to provide and assist students who may be struggling or behind in their learning.

Scaffolding means to change the level of support provided from student to student.

Support is given by a more capable student or teacher.

In college, scaffolding is used regularly. The concept of scaffolding is applied to anyone who invests their time in learning. If support is needed or offered, someone is very likely to seek it out when necessary
