Definition:
The Ancient Wisdom red flag is any type of ancient learning or history which has been around for a long time but has no scientific proof to back it. If anything Ancient Wisdom is backwards because as we move forward we learn and understand more than any ancient practices. (example: Mayan calendars predicting the end of the world.)

Connection:
This video of a climate change denier shows how people rely on ancient knowledge (that the planet has always been going through climate change) to disprove the reality that humans are deeply affecting the change in climate through industry and technology.

Definiton:
The red flag Appeal to Authority is when something is proving its legitimacy through some type of authority like a doctor or expert without and scientific explanation or evidence to prove its true. (example: Celebrities endorsing weight loss products.)

Connection:
Here I show a picture of a doctor back in the late 1940s smoking and being used as an advertisement for camel cigarettes.

Definition:
Confirmation Bias is a red flag in which new information is determined as fact because it supports an already existing belief or knowledge without explanation or research to back it. (example: automatically thinking your friend is mad at you because they haven't talked to you in a while)

Connection:
This is an article showing how smoking weed is good for you and confirms for stoners that cannibis has no negative effects; besides the fact that too much of anything is not good for you.

Definition:
A Red Herring is when irrelevant information is used to try and sway people away from the context of fact so that it can never be disproven. (example: when you are lectured about being late for school but you explain to your teacher that you get all the work done and you have higher marks than most of the class.)

Connection:
This photo shows how Red Herrings distract from the truth and fact of whats real so it can never be explained truthfully.

(example: political parties using religion to back there laws or legislation on everyone else.)

Connection:
Here is a video of how Masculism is forced upon young boys / men and changes their mental health because of unrealistic expectations about what being a man is. Men force masculinity onto other men through a confused ideology about what being a man really is.

Definition:
Simplicity is a Reason for Belief stemmed from the idea that science is hard to understand and so are the facts so the most simple answer must be true and believable. (example: dreaming about family dying and they do so you think your psychic but really its because of the law of large numbers.)

Connection:
An article on why god is real and how because things are so complicated the most simple answer is that god created everything and us.
