(by Viviane Robinson)
My interest in this book comes from the perspective of being in two new schools as a foundation member. We attempted to do a number of actions differently than we had done in our previous schools. It could easily be considered change based on new environment on for the sake of it but the intent was always to improve outcomes for learners. So I was interested to read this book to see if our actions were aligned to Viviane's or not.

This commentary must be the same the world over, yet we (education/educators) have yet to come up with a meaningful change to the discourse. Perhaps to many competing interests, perhaps vested interest in the status quo, perhaps unsure of the purpose or the unintended impact on the classroom/school.

http://tguskey.com/dont-get-rid-grades-change-meaning-consequences/
