Kirkus Reviews-
In this book review it says the book has zero-to-60 acceleration, and I agree because The Mark of Athena starts off with little action and it picks up throughout the book until you can't put the book down. The quote also says that the book ends on a literal cliff hanger, and I can confirm that.

Booklist Online-
In this book review it says that the character's insecurities make them look more appealing, and that's true because in the book each of the characters have their own little problems going on. For example most of them felt useless compared to everyone else on the team.

I think this is my favorite quote because it was the moment where Annabeth had the plan to convince Arachne (A half-spider monster) to use spider silk to create a giant chinese handcuff. Later on Annabeth tricks Arachne to get herself lodged into the chinese handcuffs by saying there's a flaw inside of it. The reason why the quote says her plan was inspired by someone named Frank is because during the start of the story Frank couldn't figure out how to get free from a chinese handcuff. Also this quote has a vocabulary word in it.

Coach Hedge -
Coach Hedge is a satyr who was the protector of Leo, Piper, and Jason in the last book but in this book he's the protector of all 7 of the heroes. He looks over the demigods to make sure they don't try to do something against the rules. Yet sometimes he can mess up really bad, like the time he accidentally shot some of the kids out of the sky. He still does keep everyone laughing with his kill it with fire attitude, and he has been useful at times when he had to help break Percy and Frank out of an aquarium.

Yes I know he's not an actor and I'm sorry but I really couldn't find a fit for Coach Hedge. The reason why I think Lego Batman is a lot like Coach Hedge is because, Batman is full of himself and always acted tough in the movie, just like Coach Hedge does in this book.
