The portfolio entry requirement will  highlight a prospective student's level of experience both academically and practically, showcasing personal qualities that are fundamental to becoming an innovative nurse.

The future of nursing requires innovative lecturers and students to work together, I believe this course will allow both to refresh the future of nursing education and practice.

Here is a picture of myself and my late grandfather. He is the one who inspired me to do what makes me happy, he was a big believer in making small changes with big impacts, as am I.

Nursing needs diverse voices, now more than ever. There's scope for nursing to be a profession that not only cares in the traditional sense, but that engages with matters of social justice at community and population levels. Progressive forms of nurse education are needed to empower future nurses to engage with these challenges.

Rather than taking a step back into another Undergraduate programme, this progressive programme would facilitate me to step forward at a level of education I am familiar with whilst enabling the ability to hone and develop transferrable skills relevant to the nursing profession as well as stimulate new learning and skills. Thus, empowering the student voice and growth into becoming an innovative and proficient nurse.
