         <description><![CDATA[<div>On the beaches of Normandy, France on June 6, 1944, the Allied forces launched one of the largest invasions to defeat Nazi Germany. Operation D-Day delivered five naval assault divisions to attack Germany in order to liberate France from German rule. The success of D-Day led to France’s independence, beginning the end of WWII and Hitler’s downfall. Operation Overlord was the most significant event of WWII as it helped end WWII and contributed to the end of Nazi tyranny.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
