Often I only see the inside of the art and design class and experience teaching  on the core programme. By participating in this project I was able to see how maths and English can work together to develop the students wider skills in other areas. Not only did we focus on the proposal, students were also asking day to day questions about bus timetables., to which the maths teacher (Sarah) was able to help. Georgina was able to add resources to the level 1 teams page, which is another useful resource in itself as students are able to access the resource at all times. Both Sarah and Georgina added their contact details to the page in order for students to book in 1-1's that could help them develop their project. The students liked the idea of 1-1's as they can discuss the FMP rather than the maths/English session itself. Overall, it was a good experience for all areas as it provided an insight in what we do as a faculty.
