Oliver twist was born in a workhouse and was look after by an undertaker after escaping, Oliver travel to London where he met a gang of juvenile pickpockets led by the led by the elderly criminal Fagin. Oliver twist portrays the sordid lives of criminals and exposes the cruel treatment of the many orphans in London, in the mid 19th century. At last, he was adopted by Mr Brownlow. In my opinion, the novel is very entertaining and it makes you want to read more.I liked the fact that Fagin and Sikes tried to change Oliver, but he continued to be an innocent good boy.

The story revolves around the life of Mani and his granny , who could barely see because of her old and broken glasses. The journey of mani with his granny to gether new glasses was really funny as I could relate same incidents with my maternal granny who is 80 years old.

By the end of the story what made me happy was that, granny could see everything clearly after a long time.The journey begins that mani and his granny going in the path of Nain.After few hours,they reached granny eldest son's house and in the very next morning they settled out, starting their next journey in a bus, but sadly a giant rock blocked the road and the bus driver said that everyone has to walk to Mussoorie. So granny and Mani decided to walk towards Mussoorie and then they walked and walked and finally they reached a hill full of berries.Mani was hungry,so he ate the berries,but while mani was eating granny walked very fast,that mani could not even catch her just like my grandmother (muthassi) and after a few hours of walking they finally reached Mussoorie. They were happy when they reached and went to the eye clinic.The docter said "why do you need this old glasses? well I will give you a new glass"said the docter.when granny tried out the new glasses she could see everything clearly,she was so happy that she could see Mani clearly for the first time.Then went shopping in different shops and they went back happily.
