Persuading us that, him being a preacher, has a higher knowledge of sorts and making people believe in him religiously in that people of the same belief will side with him because he preaches their religion.

MLK also argumentatively shares his own experience and knowledge in the ghettos claiming hes seen the struggle and what those poor families go through seeing their young children forced to go to war persuading us that he has seen the  situation first hand making us agree with him.

MLK also effectively shows his argument via bringing up his image of a civil rights leader, he talks about their motto "To save the soul of America" he then says " We were convinced that we could not limit out vision to certain rights of black people.." This persuades people by showing what he has done in his community and making them feel bonded with him as a community leader.
