Thank you so much for believing in me when no one else did. You never once took me as the stubborn hard headed girl that everyone else saw, but as a leader and go getter that loved learning. Although your class made me tear my hair out and shed many many tears for some nights, I would not have had it any other way. Thank you for keeping me going these past two years. You were not only my teacher but a person I could go to for anything. Thank you also for comforting me when I needed it. You were one of the first people I ran to for certain things and you will continue to be so. May you always be your bright and sarcastic self who’ll never let anyone get the last say. I know I have been a very bad student but I can say.....you're one of my favorite teachers lol. The way you're honest about stuff....we all need teachers like that. Teachers who honor you for doing good and teachers who also punish you for not doing so well. That's because you want the best for us. You want us to have a great future...and I respect that a lot. I love how you made math easy for me to learn. Before I came to high school, above all the subjects math is one of the most disliked of them all. But, the day I took footsteps in your room, my dislike for math changed to a like. I do appreciate you and the time you spent helping me to see math from a different perspective. Where do I even start with this one? I know we have only known each other for the past couple of months but within those months, there was pure joy and happiness. I'm going, to be honest, I've never been so invested in a class. There is a reason why students are always in your classroom during their free period and during lunchtime. Dear Mrs Hope,

Thank you for dealing with ME for the past 3 years, I don't how you do it but I thank you for enduring (lol). I thank you for believing in this Lazy person and for always pushing me to go over my limit, don't forget the many times that you had to call me to do my assignments. Thank you for being my Geometry teacher. I know I was trying my best to finish the school year in your class. I am so excited and enjoyed your class the most. You helped me spend time on the IXL, class projects, etc. I thank you enough for teaching me the way I learn math. I tried hard in your class. I don't know how I would have survived being a first year teacher at Fagaitua High School if it weren't for your existence. Literally.

My students have shared one too many instances where they used the word "challenge" to describe your classes. Therefore, I took it upon myself to get to know you both. Man, were they right! And I mean this in the most admirable way possible.

Thank you for never letting up. Thank you for holding your ground and holding your own. Thank you for reminding me of my "why" in pursuing this impossible career of teaching. You have both mentored me through this school year and I am forever indebted to you both for allowing me to unlearn and relearn things both as an educator and simply an individual who cares for our students.
