         <description><![CDATA[<p>Center 1- Students make  ten combinations by making a rainbow. Use Rainbow to fill in a Combinations of 10 page.</p><p>Center 2-  Students chooses number cards (5 to 9) and build beads on a rekenrek to show the 2 numbers. Students move beads from top or bottom to make a 10 and write new fact. For example, change 3 on top and 9 on bottom to 2 on top and 10 on bottom.  Record on notebook paper.</p><p>Center 3-  Students choose 2 number cards (5 to 9) and write an addition equation with the numbers. Then students use the Get to 10 strategy to solve. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Center 1- </strong>Students make connections between the counting sequence on a number path and adding one object to a group, using counters and&nbsp;ten-frames.</p><p><strong>Center 2-</strong>Students use cubes to model adding one to a given number. Students write equations to represent their&nbsp;models.</p><p><strong>Center 3-</strong>Students reason abstractly about one more than a given number. Students check their understanding with a rekenrek and write addition equations to match.</p>]]></description>
