You never know what someone is going or has gone through, and when you see them going through something you help them out. People want to know that they can come to you for guidance not so that they can be put down even more. She has a daughter that is 4, and a husband. When I met her I was going through one of the worst times in my life in 8th grade and close to giving up. She gave me the best gift, hope. She literally never gave up on me and helped me to open up about about some of my deepest nightmares. She really is like my best friend and the mother I never had. We all live in my grandmother's house but 3. I have always seen my grandmother as a mom, and the woman that I love and adore the most. I never really had a good relationship with my biological mother. I've tried but it never really last. We don't live in the best part of town, and the cycle in my family is either having a baby as a teenager, dropping out of school, or becoming a drug addict, or all three. I've been through more than most people will ever go through but I feel like it has made me more mature and wise. I'm not your average teen. In the LGTBQ community we face discrimination, and harsh experiences every single day. I in my short time of being out have already experienced my share of things that I wish on no one. People have tried to change me by condemning me, talking about me, making me feel bad, etc. So not being afraid and not being ashamed is something that I feel strongly about. I also am passionate about making it out of poverty and succeeding in my education, because I want to be someone with a purpose. They look out for a child's best interest and help them when they can't help themselves.  I have been through a lot as a child and teenager as well as knowing people that have. So I want to give a child hope, and a chance to prosper, live, and succeed in life. I also want to marry a woman that is smart, talented, and loves me for me. I want to have children and make it so they can have a better childhood than I did.
