To me it is all about feeling good and being comfortable with your surroundings, whether that be location, people or occupation. It is a holistic approach that encompasses both our physical and mental states.

People are demanding the restoration of democracy and the release of political leaders. The situation is complex and evolving, with concerns about human rights violations and violence. This has led to widespread protests as people are fighting for democracy and the release of political leaders who were detained. 

Unfortunately, there have been reports of human rights violations and violence, making the situation even more challenging.

I now feel that I am more capable of caring for those patients of a different culture to me. This skill is essential to me in the workplace because as a nurse it is our duty to ensure our patients are the most comfortable, and this may mean they feel most comfortable speaking in their native language.

A loving and culturally sensitive atmosphere that supports their growth and development must be provided.

Syria is a country located in the Middle East. It has a rich history and diverse culture. Unfortunately, it has also been experiencing a devastating civil war since 2011, resulting in widespread destruction and displacement of its people. The conflict has had a significant impact on the country and its population.

The people of Syria are left no choice but to find refuge in other countries. Living in poor conditions leads to the uprise in communicable diseases. Cities who have given refuge to fleeing Syrians have seen a rising number in Measles and Tuberculosis.

Measles:
Measles is a highly contagious viral infection that primarily affects the respiratory system. It causes symptoms like fever, cough, runny nose, and a characteristic rash.

all refugees receive the measles vaccine. Between April 2013 and June 2014, a total number of 115,823 newly arrived Syrian refugees were vaccinated. Countries are working to ensure the vaccination is available to all refugees to ensure the stop of measles.

Tuberculosis:
Tuberculosis, is a contagious bacterial infection that primarily affects the lungs. It can also affect other parts of the body, such as the kidneys, spine, and brain.

Unfortunately only some countries have to adequate medical treatment for tuberculosis, which involves a combination of antibiotics over several months. Therefore Syrian and other war torn countries are being heavily impacted.
