Saint Julian, born around the fourth century was a boy whose life was full of sin, he was supposedly cursed, which had caused him to kill both of his parents. When he had gotten older, his adoptive mother would always cry when Julian would turn into sin. Although his adoptive father would want to get rid of Julian because of his past, his mother would want to keep him for no apparent reason. Many say that Christ came to Julian as a poor pilgrim, seeking rest, when Christ had asked Julian for help, he said no. But when Julian finally had realized who was asking for help, he knew it was a sign to turn to Christ and to help those from there on out.

Saint Julian was a saint who was cursed at birth. He was destined by pagan witches to murder both of his parents. The devil came to Julian and told him that his wife was in bed with another man. Out of anger, Julian went home and saw a man in bed with a woman that he thought was his wife. Julian murdered them and realized that he had "fulfilled the prophecy." Following this event, Saint Julian dedicated the rest of his life to making up for his mistake. He traveled to Rome on a pilgrimage & established a hostel that would take care of weary travelers. When Saint Julian died, he was canonized and became the patron saint of murderers, hospitality, ferrymen, hunters, and travelers.

They both gave birth to children of God, with Mary giving birth to Jesus and Elizabeth giving birth to John the Baptist. Both of their children went on to be important figures of the church, and both of the mothers went on to become people who will be remembered. That is why I compared the two and found them similar.

Her mother passed away when St.Jane was just 18 years old, this then would create a strong connection between her and her father. When she was older, she had decided to become a nun because that is what she felt like she was called to do. St.Jane Francis de Chantal is known to preform miracles in her lifetime, but many say that her most impressive and astonishing miracle is doing the healing of a paralyzed nun.
