I grew up listening to punk ska and alternative music this affected the way I dress, speak, and who i socialize with. Music has always been a strong identifier of culture. Three years ago i had the chance to move to Los Angles and learn Spanish. Not only did I learn a new langue but also a culture and many subcultures that come with it. Langues and culture go hand in hand when it comes to development. I learned to love the Latino culture just as i love my own american culture. I ate different foods, talked to people from countries such as Mexico, Spain, Columbia, Guatemala, Ecuador and pretty much any country that speaks mainly Spanish. I learned games, songs, jokes and a whole new sense of humor that comes entangled in the language.
